Justin R. Baer

Justin Baer obtained a B.A. degree in Spanish at Brigham Young University in 1999. In 2003, he graduated magna cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and with membership in the Order of the Coif.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Baer began working in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the law firm Hatch, Allen and Shepherd, P.A. in the field of insurance defense. After being admitted to the New Mexico Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, his practice areas in the insurance defense field included personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, professional liability (accountants, architects, trustees, etc.), and construction defect.

In 2006, Mr. Baer moved to Utah and began working for Hirschi Christensen, PLLC in the practice areas of property law (including land use, property litigation, mechanic’s liens, foreclosures), and general civil litigation. In 2009, Mr. Baer became a founding member of the law firm Hirschi Baer & Clayton, PLLC, and continues to practice general civil litigation and property law.

He is currently a member of the Utah State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
